15psi is a pressure ratio of some where close to 2.0, make your predictions of how much power it will make!

The gt30s flow in the upper 20s lbs per min with the right housing. I am not sure how much power that acquates to on your engine. It sounds like your tuner knows what he is talking about because if you look at the pressure ratio vs the flow, the flow hits its maxium at 2.0 pressure ratio. Ie. 14.7 psi turbo boost. I think you said you are going to run a 15psi race tune, that should max out the turbo.

I really am not sure what trim it is, but your description sounds extremely similar to what he was explaining to me. Yes, our race tune will be at 15lbs, and anything much more that that is dangerous or not beneficial with this motor/tubo. Spot on mate.

The motor is built you might as well max out the potential of the turbo and make sure you get the 1.06 A/R on the turbo before it is tuned. It will make a huge difference. The exhaust housings are about $150.

lol, i was reading the turbine map not the compressor map. That is all wrong... That pressure ratio would be measured in the exhaust housing...
From looking at the compressor map it would still be effecient well into the mid 20s psi of boost and thats where you would be closing in on 500whp.
I think your car is going to a little more than 400whp @ 15psi.

What is your compression ratio? Do you plan on running pump gas at 15 psi?

im not sure what the compression ratio is....i really havent been involved with the build very much at all, 22 hrs is kickin my butt. There will be a race gas tune for the road race tune and the drag race tune in addition to 93 oct. tunes.
