First of all, thanks to everyone that helped me out on saturday.
The car went into a our race shop, soulspeed, in austin. They took a look at the car and it was in fact a rod through the bottom of the block. Since the car has a safeguard against the oil pressure dropping, it shut off immediately and may have saved the top of the engine. The motor will be pulled tomorrow and they will tare it apart by wed. to see the extent of the damage. Me and my dad have decided that we are going to do a complete build and work with the parts that are salvageable. We are also going to do engine management at the same time. A lot of S2000s run a similar set up and have not blown up, but it seems that for as serious as we want to get the car, this is the way to go. I'll just have to be working a lot more...so good news and bad news, but the car is going to be a lot stronger and faster when we are done
